VANCOUVER, BC, April 11, 2003 — NxtPhase Corp., a provider of digital and fiber optic solutions for the electric power industry, has welcomed Rich Hunt as Senior Field Application Engineer for the southern US.
Based in Raleigh, NC, Hunt will manage applications and marketing activities, including support of regional managers, sales channels and NxtPhase customers in his region.
Hunt is a Professional Engineer who has spent over 16 years in technical roles for the electric power utility industry. Hunt’s extensive power utility and equipment vendor experience includes solid knowledge of protective relay systems. Most recently, Hunt managed marketing activities in Siemens PT&D Power Automation Group in the USA. He has held various engineering positions with Virginia Power in system protection and substation design.

Hunt holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
