Pa. state agencies to help families pay winter heating bills

Gov. Ridge also today reminded Pennsylvanians that Pennsylvania’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will begin accepting applications on Monday, Nov. 6, for the 2000-01 winter heating season.

Nov. 3, 2000–The U.S. is in the early stages of a new energy crisis, according to oil and gas industry analyst Matthew Simmons of Houston, Texas.
