PECO Energy commits more than $10 million to further enhance customer reliability in Philadelphia

With more than $10 million and 5,000 man-hours committed in Philadelphia, 2001 brings an even greater focus on system reinforcement, capacity expansions and equipment upgrades to meet increased demand and reliability for the city’s more than 620,000 electric customers.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 16, 2001 – Pacific Gas and Electric Company is offering a new program to its large commercial customers which will allow them to retrieve invaluable information about their energy consumption and control their usage with the click of a button – all from their desktop computer.
