PeopleSoft CRM for Energy helps companies compete in changing regulatory environment

PLEASANTON, Calif., Dec. 9, 2002 — PeopleSoft Inc. announced the general availability of PeopleSoft CRM for Energy this month.

PeopleSoft CRM for Energy is a complete CRM solution designed to specifically address the needs of companies across the entire energy value chain including energy producers, transmission companies, retailers and distributors.

The solution allows companies in this rapidly changing industry to quickly adapt their business processes and deliver superior customer service.

PeopleSoft’s energy solution provides new functionality and pre-built integrations, enabling energy providers to sell and support multiple services. Rich industry-specific functionality includes premise management, account billing, trouble management, order management and service management. Pre-built integrations simplify the start/stop/transfer service process and allow companies to leverage their existing customer information systems and other legacy applications.
