PG&E names Tim Fitzpatrick vice president, chief communications officer

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. (PG&E) announced it has appointed Tim Fitzpatrick as vice president of corporate relations and chief communications officer.

Fitzpatrick, who has led marketing and corporate communications at NextEra Energy since 2008, will oversee PG&E’s internal and external communications and advertising. He will report to PG&E Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Greg Pruett.

Fitzpatrick joined NextEra Energy in January 2008, serving as vice president of marketing and corporate communications and as an officer of Florida Power & Light Co (FPL). He began his career as a newspaper reporter in Ohio and has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Youngstown State University.
