Plant loss prompts California ISO warning

The ISO called for immediate conservation measures and said it is working to secure additional power in an effort to avoid initiating a Stage 2 emergency.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 20, 2000–Samsung Data Systems America (SDSA) and Energy Information Technologies (EIT) have formed a strategic alliance to jointly develop an Internet energy information system that will provide customers with greater control over their power consumption while helping energy companies reduce costs.
