Power-Gen Europe: GE Power Systems adding new features to Outage Optimizer

Since it was launched in June of 2001, the Outage Optimizer has produced more than $500 million in orders, and has attracted more than 2,500 users at 600 customer sites.

PHOENIX, Ariz., May 30, 2001 — With a wall of solar arrays as a backdrop, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Christine Todd Whitman today stressed the Bush administration’s commitment to renewable energy resources and applauded Arizona Public Service (APS) for its leadership in the development of solar technology.
