Current Transformer

GE’s RevenueSense 600-volt current transformer, acting as the input to a transformer-rated meter, provides commercial and industrial applications with an extended performance range compared with industry-standard current transformers. By using specialized core material that minimizes electrical losses, RevenueSense also maintains a narrow 0.15 accuracy class (the highest class possible per IEEE) from 1 percent of rated current through rating factor. This translates into significantly less room for error compared with a standard current transformer, allowing utilities to maximize billing revenue. The single unit operates over a wider range, eliminating the need for multiple current transformers in various sizes and load capabilities. This simplifies the current transformer size and selection process and reduces inventory requirements and costs. The new current transformer also reduces billing multipliers, resulting in improved productivity and minimized risk of error in billing and meter programing.

Thermal Imaging Reporting App

Thermal Imaging Reporting App

Ti Thermal Imaging Ltd.’s TICOR is believed to be the first Android-based thermal imaging reporting application that provides immediate, one-click report generation. Installing the software on an android tablet enables engineers to enter data from a thermal imaging camera directly into the tablet and produce instant diagnostic reports on-site with just one click at the end of each TI survey. TICOR software also can be integrated into WEBCOR, Ti Thermal Imaging’s new online predictive maintenance and condition monitoring program, and with one click, the data captured on TICOR can be uploaded onto WEBCOR to provide data comparison and tracking of changes to give early indication of potential issues or problem areas. Both software programs are compatible with any thermal imaging cameras that produce images in various formats as well as the recently-launched Seek Thermal camera attachment for mobile phones.
