PUCO chairman Schriber to present testimony to House subcommittee on power siting process

The Subcommittee will hold a hearing entitled: “Electricity Markets: Lessons Learned from California.” Chairman Schriber, who also serves as Chairman of the Ohio Power Siting Board, will discuss the process Ohio is taking to site new power generation in Ohio, and the steps being taken to prevent a situation occurring in Ohio that occurred in California.

(NYSE: D), has issued a purchase order for an initial-phase instrumentation and control upgrade program for its Surry Power Station Units 1 and 2.
