Radio IP Software gets new utility customers with Radio IP MTG

Fort Lauderdale, FL, Nov. 21, 2005 — Radio IP Software, a provider of wireless data connectivity solutions, announced that it has signed two new utility customers, which includes Southside Electric Co-op in Virginia and Northeast Utilities in Connecticut, allowing them to implement mobile data technology in the field.

Radio IP MTG software provides across-the-board wireless security, multi-network integration, roaming and communication persistence according to Radio IP Software. The software also boasts the ability to improve network performance with regards to both speed and coverage.

Radio IP Software is said to optimize all networks, and give companies communication stability and high-level security.

Southside Electric Co-op will be deploying 25 mobile units with Radio IP MTG and running over a Motorola ASTRO IV&D network.

Northeast Utilities has purchased 100 licenses of Radio IP MTG and will be deploying them over an EV-DO network as well as roaming over 802.11 hotspots.
