Release of new LODESTAR Customer Choice Suite addresses Sarbanes-Oxley Act

Peabody, MA, June 16, 2006 — LODESTAR Corp. announced that version 4.50 of its LODESTAR Customer Choice Suite (CCS) addresses the need for customers to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and also offers performance enhancements to the earlier version.

“LODESTAR CCS Version 4.50 has enhanced security and added new auditing and versioning features that help our clients comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act,” said Ken Hamilton, senior director of product management for LODESTAR.

Enhancements to LODESTAR Rules Language are designed to provide faster data processing, and enable integration with third-party interfaces within business rule processing. Other enhancements include new tools for optimizing performance and scalability, new web interfaces for service points and other market entities, and versioning support for interval data. Users will also be able to send e-mails with attached reports, export usage directly to Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software, and format reports in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat software.
