Reliant to appeal judge’s order to US Ninth Circuit Court

HOUSTON, Mar. 23, 2001—Reliant Energy Inc. Friday said it will ask the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to stay an order that forces the company to dispatch power in California without compensation.
