S&C Electric Co. and EnergyLine Systems establish Automation Systems Division


August 26, 2002 — On August 20, 2002 S&C Electric announced the creation of the Automation Systems Division. Beginning on September 1, 2002 the new division created by merging EnergyLine Systems and the Electronic Products Division of S&C will provide an expanded array of intelligent solutions to meet a wider cross-section of our customers’ needs.

The Automation Systems Division will be a tightly integrated team of product and service engineers, technicians and specialists focused on serving our customers around the world.

Several benefits can be expected from this change:

* EnergyLine and S&C customers will receive enhanced service as a result of combining the resources of the two organizations into an integrated whole.
* Our customers can now look to S&C for “one stop shopping”, for their automation needs.
* S&C will continue to put substantial investment into research and development of innovative automation services and products.

EnergyLine customers need not worry – S&C will fully support all present EnergyLine products and services, and you will continue to see the EnergyLine brand-name on our products. S&C’s sales force will continue to represent S&C’s automation offerings – your current contact point for all S&C and EnergyLine products and services will remain the same for all of your automation system needs.
