SCADAgroup acquires Adaptive Instruments Corp.

Newcastle, New South Wales, April 16, 2008 — SCADAgroup Pty Ltd announced further expansion of their lineup of product and service companies with the acquisition of Adaptive Instruments Corp. of Hudson, Mass. With their wireless instrumentation products offered under the brand of Accutech, the company sees Adaptive Instruments as a catalyst for their continued growth within the telemetry and process control markets.

The acquisition is the latest in a string of acquisitions by SCADAgroup. In 2006 the group acquired Control Microsystems, a provider of SCADA hardware and software solutions headquartered in Canada, and earlier this year the group added Trio Datacom to the team, a supplier of advanced data radio products developed in Australia.
