SCC adopts permanent rules for Virginia energy choice

New competitive service providers and existing local distribution companies will follow the rules that make it possible for Virginians to choose their energy supplier during a statewide phase-in that begins January 1, 2002. The SCC order adopts permanent rules for the retail purchase of energy. Interim rules have been in place during “experimental” retail choice programs.

BETHESDA, Md., June 21, 2001 – PG&E National Energy Group has completed its transaction for a new $550 million senior unsecured letter of credit and revolving credit facility.
