SDG&E, Dynegy in standoff over California power plant

HOUSTON, Apr. 16, 2001–For the next month, San Diego Gas & Electric Co. Monday indicated it will continue to operate a 250 MW peaking power plant if ordered by the California grid operator, over the objections of Dynegy Inc., one of the plant’s owners.

VANCOUVER, B.C., April 18, 2001–Westcoast Energy Inc. and EPCOR Utilities Inc. today announced that Frederickson Power L.P. has completed a 20-year sale of 125 megawatts (MW) of power to three Washington State Public Utility Districts (PUDs).
