Select Energy expands customer base in Massachusetts

Beginning July 1, Select Energy will provide a significant portion of NSTAR’s default electric supply service to residential, commercial and industrial customers for the remainder of 2001. The deal calls for over 500 megawatts of load to be served through the local distribution company (LDC) subsidiaries of NSTAR Electric.

ATLANTA, June 25, 2001 — Georgia Power, the largest subsidiary of Southern Company, has chosen Apogee Interactive’s Demand ExchangeSMto facilitate its new Daily Energy Credit (DEC) program for business customers.
