Sempra Energy appoints Jack T. Taylor to board

Sempra Energy has announced that Jack T. Taylor has been appointed to the company’s board of directors.

Taylor demonstrated significant financial expertise during his 37-year career at KPMG, one of the world’s largest audit, tax and advisory firms. From 2005 to 2010, Taylor served as KPMG’s chief operating officer and executive vice chair of U.S. operations. From 2001 to 2005, Taylor was KPMG’s U.S. vice chair-audit and risk advisory services.

Taylor is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana Tech University.

Sempra Energy now has 11 board members.
