Sierra Pacific California extends outsourcing contract with ORCOM

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., July 23, 2002 — ORCOM, a provider of outsourced customer care and billing services for electric, gas and water utilities recently announced that the California service area of Sierra Pacific Power Company has signed on for a five year extension of their existing outsourcing contract.

The California service area of Sierra Pacific Power Company relies on ORCOM for a number of outsourced customer and business process needs, including the hosting of ORCOM’s E-CIS application, bill print and bill process management.

The California service area of Sierra Pacific Power Company, a subsidiary of Sierra Pacific Resources, is an electric utility servicing customers in the Lake Tahoe area of California.
