Sixth Dimension names Gary Hessenauer CEO

FORT COLLINS, Colo., May 7, 2002 — Sixth Dimension, a provider of a complete, fully managed network for enabling energy services, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Gary Hessenauer as Chief Executive Officer.

With extensive experience in strategic management and the energy industry, Mr. Hessenauer will guide the company through the process of rapidly commercializing and deploying the 6D iNET® network.

Prior to joining 6D, Hessenauer was senior vice president of sales and marketing of Sempra Energy Solutions in San Diego, CA. Prior to Sempra his accomplishments include serving as President and COO of Depsco Services, vice president of sales and marketing at Edison International, and a number of senior management positions at GE between 1984 and 1994. When he left GE he was responsible for 35 business units and 800 sales, service and marketing employees.

Hessenauer received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1976.
