SRS enters Phase Two of facilities assessment with Texas school district

Space data collection and assessment of mechanical and facility assets are in progress for 3.5 million square feet of space with an expected completion date of November 2001. Facility attribute and capital asset information will be collected for 35 schools using the Facility Assessment Survey Tool (FAST) from SRS. This data will be fully documented in the web-based SiteNetà¢â€ž- Facility Information System, providing the district with real-time facility information from a living database rather than producing a static set of reports that are difficult to effectively utilize. The database will enable Round Rock to make data-driven decisions about needed capital improvements and help justify necessary funding.
