Survey of Ohioans shows high interest in electric competition

The survey of 8,201 residents and business owners was conducted statewide by the Center for Research and Public Policy on behalf of the Ohio Electric Choice Coordinating Team. Results showed higher awareness among businesses, with 54 percent of business owners reporting they’re aware of electric competition and 85 percent saying they are “somewhat” or “very interested.” The research was undertaken with a +/- 3 percent margin of error with a 95 percent confidence level.
