Thermo Electron completes first phase of Thermo Ecotek sale for $238 million

This amount includes a $63 million purchase price adjustment for reimbursement of continuing project development expenditures incurred by Thermo Ecotek between September 30, 2000, and the June 29, 2001, closing date.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 2, 2001 – Henwood Energy Services, Inc. (Henwood) announced today that due to concerted actions taken mostly by utilities in the Pacific Northwest to mitigate power problems, they believe it’s possible to avoid blackouts entirely in the summer of 2001 throughout the WSCC.
