Three power groups join Midwest ISO

Joining the Midwest ISO as non-transmission owner members are Indeck-Rockford LLC, an exempt wholesale generator; Connectiv Energy Supply Inc., a power marketer; and Tenaska Power Services Co., a power marketer. The addition of these members brings to 28 the number of non-transmission owners participating in the MISO.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 21, 2000 – American Electric Power Co. Inc., (AEP) Columbus, Ohio, and Texas’s Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA)Thursday said they are forming a $90 million partnership to build a segment of a proposed 219-mi high-voltage power line that will move electricity from wind farms and natural gas- fired power plants in west Texas to power consuming regions of the state.
