Trials with Happy Trails
I have just finished reading your editorial in your March/April issue. You touched on a subject which I hold dear to heart to say the least. It seems in this fast pace “technological competitiveness,” many companies have lost sight of who`s who, and have forgotten to ask themselves what expertise employees can bring to their companies. After all, are they not the “core” of the company?
I have always thought that no matter what your “status quo” is in your company, we all have something to learn from each other. Maybe it`s time for companies to lend an ear and take the time to listen. After all, no matter what technological changes are waiting for us in the new millennium, people are still fundamental to every business. When a person feels accepted and heard in his/her organization, it is only human to feel a “self-worth” which in turn reflects in their everyday job functions, thereby, making business thrive. I genuinely enjoy reading your articles. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
