TVA considers restart of Browns Ferry Unit 1 nuclear plant

HOUSTON, Mar. 2, 2001–With demand projected to grow 2-3%/year in the Southeast, the Tennessee Valley Authority said it is considering restarting the mothballed 1,000 MW Browns Ferry nuclear plant Unit 1.
