TXU reports 3Q income down 7.5%

The 32% increase in revenue reflected strong growth from the US Electric segment, that was driven by continued customer growth and warmer than normal weather related sales, according to the company.

Oct. 26, 2000–Duke Energy Corp. received the go ahead to build the controversial 1,060 MW Moss Landing power plant from the California Energy Commission Wednesday, the sixth plant approved since the state’s electricity market was restructured in March 1998.
