Utilities associations merge to form the Energy Association of Pennsylvania

The governing bodies of both associations formally approved the merger and also announced that Richard Bunn will serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer while the Association’s Search Committee conducts an extensive search for its new leader.

Oct. 24, 2000—Consolidated Edison Inc. says it is reviewing its options in light of restrictions imposed by Connecticut state regulators in their approval of the company’s proposed acquisition of Northeast Utilities.
