MALVERN, Pa. July 5, 2002 — SCT announced recently Vectren Corp.’s commitment to utilize SCT’s newest product to enhance customer service to over 300,000 gas customers in the Dayton, Ohio area.
SCT’s most recent version of Banner Advantage CIS will assist Vectren as it unbundles the commodity and delivery services and offers its customers the option of picking a new gas supplier. The solution is expected to go live this winter.
With Banner Advantage CIS, Vectren will be able to exchange critical customer choice enrollment and billing information electronically with gas suppliers. This utility-specific CRM functionality coupled with SCT EnerLink billing functionality will give Vectren the ability to perform complex supplier billing and settlement functions while maintaining customer relationships.
