VISTA utility automation/IT market intelligence programs debut in 2006

New Orleans, LA, Jan 4, 2006 — InfoNetrix, a technical market research and consulting firm specialized in utility automation and information technology (IT) market research, introduced a new concept in targeted market intelligence services for 2006. The new InfoNetrix Advisory Services (IAS) programs will be branded and marketed as VISTA (Vital Information Strategies & Tactics for Automation).

VISTA programs are based on an annual subscription model, which includes unlimited online access to market intelligence being gathered for various market/business areas that can be individually selected by each client at the time of order. Additional VISTA program modules for new market/business areas can be added to the subscription at any time, providing access to increasing levels of market intelligence for selected areas. Both strategic and tactical market intelligence components are built into the model.

Senior market research and consulting professionals with experience in utility automation/IT markets conduct the VISTA market survey work on a year-round basis. Each month, InfoNetrix analysts familiar with utility automation/IT markets as well as the associated indigenous automation products, systems and services, conduct the VISTA research surveys with electric, gas and water/wastewater utilities throughout the United States and Canada.

“VISTA programs will continue to focus on essentially the same pervasive utility automation/IT disciplines we have researched since the founding of InfoNetrix four years ago,” noted Michael A. Marullo, the firm’s president and director of research & consulting. “Key research areas including real-time controls, geospatial and information technology solutions for electric, gas and water utilities will continue to be at the center of our comprehensive research efforts.”

A total of six VISTA Complete programs allow subscribers to purchase homogeneous groupings of individual components at substantial discounts. However, individual components can also be purchased separately or, as part of a completely custom-tailored VISTA program.
