The Model 2210 A arbitrary waveform generator is designed for multi-phase power-line signal simulation. This instrument is a way to create and output the power-line waveforms, such as sinewaves with harmonics up to the 50th. Power-line malfunctions can be simulated, reproduced, stored and manipulated using this two-channel, three-phase generator. The user is assured of line frequency accuracy to 0.005 percent using a DDS frequency synthesizer sampling clock. Both phase and amplitude controls are double-buffered to eliminate any undesirable programming transients. Lab-quality performance provides output amplitude up to 10 V, 12-bit waveform resolution with 0.1 percent precision output up to a fundamental frequency of 90 Hz. Interphase synchronism is standard, with 0 to 360 degree range, 0.1 degree resolution and 0.2 degree accuracy at the fundamental frequency.
