Wisconsin Energy’s top executive details $6 billion plan

MILWAUKEE, Sept. 25, 2000 (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)–The top executive at Wisconsin Energy Corp. said Friday that consumer rates would increase with the rate of inflation over the next 10 years under the company’s proposed $6 billion plan to build at least three new power plants and restructure its finances.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 25, 2000–NewEnergy Inc. is one of the first companies to seek certification as a Certified Retail Electric Supplier (CRES) in Ohio.
