Wisconsin Power and Light files to recover Kewaunee costs

The company is requesting a $19.2 million increase, effective Dec. 1, 2001, to cover its portion of the costs. The plant is operated by the Nuclear Management Company and jointly owned by Wisconsin Public Service (41.2 percent), WPL (41 percent) and Madison Gas and Electric (17.8 percent).

BELLEVUE, Wash., July 16, 2001 – Puget Sound Energy today asked state regulators to update the formula for calculating a bill credit the utility’s customers can receive for conserving electricity.
