WSI seasonal update calls for warm summer in the east and northwest, cool elsewhere

There are two distinct regions that can expect warmer-than-normal temperatures this summer. The first region is the northwestern United States, including Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and the northern Rocky Mountain states. The second region encompasses most of the East Coast with the exception of Florida.

SAN DIEGO, May 31, 2001 – As part of its continuing efforts to help customers prepare for the anticipated state-ordered electric service interruptions this summer, San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) has begun publishing specific blackout information on its bills.
