It is now up to the White House and this Congress to work together on bipartisan legislation that enhances our national and energy security, protects and creates jobs, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and stimulates our economy.

We recognize this will not be easy, but Americans want action and our country cannot afford to wait.

Democrats, Republicans and Independents must work together to develop the legislative solutions on climate and energy that Americans are demanding.

USCAP joins with the growing chorus of industry, environmental, faith-based, labor and other stakeholders who are committed to moving this process forward.

We will continue to work with this growing group of voices, the administration and members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to achieve legislation that is environmentally effective and economically sustainable.
