Enspiria Solutions to assist Pepco Holdings in AMI system acquisition

Denver, CO January 1, 2008 — Enspiria Solutions has signed an agreement with Pepco Holdings Inc. (PHI) in Washington, D.C. to assist with its AMI technology and end-point installation system acquisition.

PHI has plans to implement an AMI solution as an integral component of its Blueprint for the Future, a proposal for investing in innovative technologies and initiatives designed to help PHI’s electric utility customers manage their energy more effectively, reduce the total cost of energy and protect the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

“PHI’s vision of the future includes the conversion of our metering system from electro-mechanical to digital, a transformation that will evolve over a period of years and allow us to expand and improve our services and programs” said Todd McGregor, AMI project sponsor for PHI. McGregor added that Enspiria Solutions has the knowledge and experience PHI was looking for “to assist us in developing the functional and technical requirement specifications for the new metering technology.”
