RAMAR announces vice president of operations

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Jan. 6, 2003 — RAMAR®, a designer and supplier of radio based Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) systems, announced that Scott Seehoffer is assuming a new RAMAR position as Vice President of Operations.

In his new position with AT RAMAR LLC, Scott will be responsible for developing and executing the operating plan for the 900 Series North American product line. “Scott’s successful management style along with his thirteen years of AMR experience will support our continued growth in the AMR market. We are looking forward to his leadership in building our utility meter reading products as we enter the next phase of our corporate evolution.” said Michael Ueland, Chief Operating Officer for AT RAMAR LLC.

Before joining RAMAR, Scott was the Vice President and General Manager for Advanced Acoustic Concepts in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. There he was responsible for developing signal processing hardware and software along with training software for the United States Navy. Prior to that, Scott was the Vice President of Engineering for Invensys Metering Systems also in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. While at Invensys, Scott directed all engineering activities including technical research, product/ software development, and technical service/ support for utility meters and AMR equipment worldwide. Scott received a Bachelor’s of Science in Electric Engineering (BSEE) from West Virginia University and graduated summa cum laude.
