DistribuTECH, the largest U.S. conference that covers the smart grid from end to end, opened at the San Diego Convention Center on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011. More than 6,600 people attended DristibuTECH 2010 in Tampa, Fla. In San Diego, DistribuTECH 2011 surpassed those attendee numbers, closing in on 8,500 attendees on the final day.
Oil-filled electrical equipment diagnostics rely on insulating fluid markers, and the insulating fluids market is experiencing intensive development. Traditionally, mineral oil has been the most used, but several groups of insulating oils now exist: uninhibited (without added synthetic inhibitor), partially inhibited (with up to 0.08 percent DBPC or ditertiary-bytyl paracresol) and fully inhibited (up to 0.40 percent DBPC).
