Puget Sound Energy scores high in service quality while positioning for solid growth

Puget Sound Energy's (PSE) future looks bright. It is one of the lowest cost combined electric/gas companies in the United States in 2000.


Findings of a new survey suggest that consumers are interested in dealing with their energy suppliers over the Internet, but only half the customers who deal with energy providers over the Internet are satisfied with the results. According to the survey these high-tech households are more critical of their utilities than other consumers.

Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) offers more than electric and gas service to residents in New Jersey, they also offer appliance service contracts. Recently PSE&G`s WorryFree Service was expanded to include refrigerators, dishwashers and washing machines. One year replacement parts contracts range from $45 for washing machines and dishwashers, to $65 for refrigerators. Contracts include all labor for covered parts.
