Southern Chairman, President and CEO Thomas Fanning said that the moves, effective June 1, will happen in the wake of Chief Financial Officer Art Beattie's impending retirement. Southern Gas Co. CEO Andrew Evans will succeed Beattie in the top finance and executive vice president role.
