Entergy monitors Tropical Storm Karen

Entergy New Orleans Inc., Entergy Louisiana LLC and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Karen as it moves toward landfall along the Gulf Coast.

Entergy’s utility companies in Louisiana are preparing for the possibility of thunderstorms, heavy rains and high winds, which could lead to power outages in southern Louisiana. Entergy’s line crews and contractors are on notice and prepared to safely restore service to customers as quickly as possible.

Entergy urges customers to monitor the storm and to prepare to implement their own storm plans if needed.

Entergy’s Louisiana utility companies serve more than one million customers.
