EnWin Utilities tackles Canadian electric restructuring using customer information system

EnWin installed SPL’s software as part of the company’s plans to meet the complex unbundling requirements created by the Energy Competition Act that required restructuring of the electricity industry in Ontario, Canada.

ZURICH, Switzerland, June 14, 2001 – Global technology group ABB said today it has won contracts worth about US$ 300-million to design and build two high-voltage power transmission systems with a combined length of nearly 1,300-kilometers to help satisfy the steadily increasing demand for energy in Brazil.
