Itron granted Hart-Scott-Rodino clearance from FTC and DOJ

Spokane, WA, January 27, 2003 — Itron Inc., a technology provider and critical source of knowledge to the global energy and water industries, announced recently that the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice have granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 with respect to its proposed acquisition of Silicon Energy Corp.
