ATLANTA, Nov. 14, 2002 — Mobility Inc. announced Wednesday a contract award from Austin Energy, to provide the Mobility Suite of Products.

Mobility Inc. will provide its complete Mobile Workforce Solution to Austin Energy, a Municipally-Owned Electric Company. This Workforce Solution will aid in servicing electricity to more than 360,000 of Austin Energy’s customers in the Austin, Texas area.

The Mobility Scheduling functionality, powered by ClickSchedule, a schedule optimization solution from ClickSoftware, will provide a platform for dynamic scheduling, real-time crew optimization, street-level routing and emergency response capability.

The Mobility Computer-Aided Dispatch functionality gives dispatchers real-time tools to receive requests, dispatch technicians, monitor order status and complete orders for a variety of services. Automatic Vehicle Location features GPS- based real-time vehicle location on map displays, providing Austin Energy with a tactical view of resources to better respond to emergencies while improving crew safety.

“In today’s increasingly competitive market, superior customer service is more crucial than ever,” said Rick Solner, Project Manager for Austin Energy. “The Mobility solution clearly supports our commitment to our customers. The Mobility solution enables better communications among field staff, dispatch, and customer service to ensure service calls are completed on time the first time.”
