Moody’s downgrades PG&E Gas Transmission, Northwest Corp. rating

These confirmations end a review for possible downgrade prompted by concerns that the financial distress of PGT’s parent PG&E Corp. could have a negative impact on PGT. The debt ratings of PG&E Corp. (A3 issuer rating) and its subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Company (A2 issuer rating) continue to be under review for possible downgrade, pending further assessment of the difficult regulatory activities in California.
