ObjectAutomation resumes operations

IRVINE, Calif., July 14, 2003 — ObjectAutomation, a provider of object-based industrial process monitoring, control, and automation software, announced it has resumed operations. The company has assembled a team of the original OA software engineers coupled with new talent focused on re-establishing ObjectAutomation and its OAenterprise system as a market leader.

ObjectAutomation is also pleased to announce that OAenterprise is fully supported in Europe by OA Europe BV (www.oaeurope.com), headquartered in The Netherlands.

“This is a significant step in re-establishing ObjectAutomation as a global leader in the industrial automation marketplace,” states Jon Wimer, one of the original founders of ObjectAutomation. “Existing OAenterprise customers will be very pleased with the level of support and service that is being restored. Adding to that will be an aggressive R&D effort to ensure the system is at the forefront of the industry for many years to come.”

ObjectAutomation is also actively working with strategic partners to build vertical market solutions around OAenterprise. These solutions are highly configurable and reusable OAenterprise components that will be delivered to customers in weeks, not months, and at a fraction of the cost.
