PSE&G integrates outage management
M3i Systems Inc. was selected to provide New Jersey Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) an integrated outage and dispatch computer management system.
The installation of PSE&G`s full system includes four modules with the first one being completed by mid 2000. The modules encompass the M3i-designed, Windows NT-based PragmaLine and PragmaCAD software and will provide an integrated outage management solution with interfaces to several key enterprise systems, including the company`s customer information system, geographic information system (being deployed at the same time as the OMS system), SCADA system, and SAP software. The M3i solution includes distribution operations-wide call taking, trouble analysis, switch/repair plans, incident management, and dispatching as well as management and regulatory reporting, and advanced graphic representation.
PragmaCAD is designed to track mobile service vehicles, dispatch them automatically and optimize workload levels and assignments by priority.
