Survalent designs SCADA system for Erie Thames Powerlines, Ontario

Survalent Technology commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Erie Thames Powerlines, Ontario.

Erie Thames Powerlines represents Public Utilities Commissions (PUCs) within the municipalities of Port Stanley, Aylmer, Belmont, Ingersoll, Thamesford, Otterville, Norwich, Burgessville, Beachville, Embro, Tavistock, Clinton, Mitchell and Dublin. They are a licensed distribution company providing service to over 18,000 residential and commercial customers.

The new system features Survalent’s open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes several of Survalent’s open system applications, including: WorldView, SCADA Explorer, IED Wizard and Control Panel, Remote Alarm Annunciation, System Configuration Status, Event Data Recording and SmartVU.
