WPS Resources promotes Bourbonnais, welcomes Schott

GREEN BAY, Wis., Jan. 20, 2003 — WPS Resources Corp. has announced the promotion of Bill Bourbonnais to Assistant Vice President – Transmission. Bourbonnais was formerly Manager – Rates and Economic Evaluation for Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, the utility subsidiary of WPS Resources.

Assuming the prior duties of Bourbonnais will be James Schott who joined Wisconsin Public Service Corporation as Assistant Vice President – Regulatory Affairs.

Bourbonnais, 57, joined the company in 1968 as an industrial application engineer. He is a Marquette University High School, Milwaukee, graduate who holds a B.S. in Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Bourbonnais had previously held the positions of Electrical Engineer, Distribution Planning Superintendent and Manager – Economic Planning for the firm.

Schott, 45, a native of Danville, Illinois, was employed for the past 12 years by Wisconsin Gas Company, which merged with Wisconsin Electric Company, where he held a variety of positions including Controller and Senior Vice President – Distribution Operations. A graduate of Lewisburg Area High School, Schott holds his undergraduate degree in business from Georgetown University and a Master’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
